Located at the Boxgrove Bypass in Markham, Eggs 4 Life is a nice place to grab some filling brunch foods. You have to go into the plaza to see this place (it is next to the Dollarama), and I went with my mom and sister on a Saturday in July 2019.

We tried the French Toast Special ($11.49 before tax), 5 Pancakes ($7.99 before tax), and Regular Eggs Benedict ($11.99 before tax) to share among the three of us. The French Toast Special was great: they gave us a ton of fresh fruit; the french toast was seasoned to be subtly sweet but also savoury; and the bacon and sunny-side-up egg were cooked perfectly to be crispy and runny respectively. The pancakes were fluffy and very enjoyable; they also provide a generous amount of whipped butter and syrup at the table. Furthermore, the Eggs Benedict was good: the eggs were nicely poached (the dish includes THREE eggs, omg!); the hollandaise sauce is nice; and there was a good amount of home fries on the plate. However, I wish that the home fries were more crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Instead, they were a bit soggy, but they tasted alright.

The service is excellent here: our server was very friendly and helpful with concerns we had about portions and my sister's allergies. The restaurant's country décor was charming as well. I look forward to coming back when I have a craving for a lazy, chill weekend brunch!

I've been here for weekend brunch more times than I can count and it's consistently good food and service. My favourite item from here would hands down be the eggs benny. They have a couple different types for vegetarians and even if it isn't on the menu, if you ask for the portobello eggs benny, they might make it for you. They're generous with their eggs (3!), hollandaise and you get a ton of hash browns as well. The coffee is also bottomless which basically guarantees I'll be a happy camper. I've also had the French toast which is great and the breakfast platters with a little bit of everything.

I know this is a neighbourhood family favourite because every time I go its packed with families having breakfast. All the wait staff are very friendly and attentive and make sure your coffee cup is always filled. I know there's a bunch of fancy brunch places in Markham now but if you're looking for a place that does classics and does them well, check out Eggs 4 Life.

Pro Tip: Make sure to check the chalkboard at the front door for daily specials!

So currently I have this phase where I am searching for awesome breakfast places. So far, I keep ordering the same thing...eggs, sausage, homefries, toast, and Pancakes but I don't think I'm going to get sick of it any time soon- Im just lovin' breakfast foods right now. Anyways, I came here after someone suggested it. I drive by the plaza every day so I was definitely surprised that I didn't notice Eggs 4 life. Its a pleasant surprise though because I'm running out of places whose breakfast I can try!

So now that you know what I always order, I can dive straight into the food. The breakfast was very average. Nothing on the plate stoodout. Actually, the pancakes stood out but not for a good reason. They were incredibly dry! I was surpised but as I was cutting into them they were crumbling to some degree. Needless to say, I was not impressed by the breakfast.

Folks, if you value the moistness of your pancakes, save yourself the disappointment and don't get them from here.

Service is a little slow for three waitresses taking care of about 12 tables. There were lots of uncleared tables the whole time we were there. Took a while to get our menus and take our orders but they were pleasant.

Food is mediocre. It almost feels like something you can make at home. The presentation is alright. Prices are fair, cheaper than Cora's by a couple bucks. Coffee is meh.

Eggs and home fries are cooked well, bacon not too greasy. We ordered the waffles as well but those were last on our list. The batter isn't sweet or eggy enough so the waffles came out dry and tasteless. There were some fresh sliced strawberries and whipped cream on the side which was nice.

Honestly, they'd be worth it for the early bird specials but I'm not sure if I'd come after 10am.

Nice little cozy all day breakfast joint. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's usually pretty busy during breakfast to mid lunch but there are sufficient seating booths available. It has great food, fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice! Great prices, good portions. Wonderful place to go with family and friends. The service is great, too.
